To the Editor:

We have been subscribers to the Killeen Daily Herald for many years. We are currently canceling our subscription because we have purchased a 5th wheel and plan to travel extensively.

We would like to take this opportunity to praise our delivery man, DeWayne Wright. He has faithfully delivered our paper for many years. Mr. Wright never misses a day, and is always here very early in the morning. He always throws the paper in a convenient location.

We also want you to know that both Mr. Wright and his wife are compassionate people and care about helping others. Mr. Wright also delivered the paper to my mother, Edith McCandless. When she had to go to assisted living, I called Mr. Wright, spoke to his wife, and he promptly returned my call. He went out of his way to deliver the paper to her doorstep in assisted living as long as she was there.

Too often in today’s world people don’t take the time to praise others. We wanted to let you know what a fine employee you have in Mr. Wright. We enjoy your newspaper, and will continue to purchase it when we are in town. Thank you for your time.
