To the Editor:
The time for the end of my term is drawing near. What an incredible experience it was to serve the great people of District 55 and Texas. I went to Austin representing the grassroots conservatives and stood firm on our Judeo Christian beliefs. My number one priority was to represent those who sent me there and to take care of the needs of my constituents.
Fighting the good fight for the right to life, lower taxes, less regulation, free enterprise, school choice, border security, our vets and much more was what I was destined to do. God called me to that battlefield in Austin and I accepted. He used me and taught me many important things. Now, He has taken me from that position and is preparing me for the next assignment. One project I am working on is finishing the book I’m writing. I’ve submitted my manuscript to three publishers and hoping at least one shows interest. The book is an in-depth look at the negative impact of abortion on the lives of women, men, children, families and society.
Lots of new things are happening in my life. One is a big move. Well, several moves counting my two offices. My husband and I have sold our house and bought a house and more acreage in east Bell County. The folks out here have been good to me. We love it here. The views ... the small, country communities around us are what we have been praying for for a long time.
