To the Editor:

On behalf of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, I offer my sincere condolences to the Fort Hood military community, in this moment of grave tragedy on the base.

We never dreamt that something like this could happen again. The wounds of five years ago are just healing, only to be struck by another low blow.

Our thoughts and our prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy and we ask Almighty God to give them the strength to be resilient. You are our neighbor and we feel your pain.

Mustafa Abdussalaam

President, ICGK
