To the Editor:

With Father’s Day coming, I wish all fathers a very happy, healthy and blessed day.

But let us not forget the greatest Father of all, our Heavenly Father. Because of Him we have a mother and father to love and take care of us.

My father died when I was 7 years old. I love him and still miss him. That was back in 1939.

So on Father’s Day and as each day begins, let us lift our minds and hearts to our Heavenly Father and offer Him the new day He has given us, and keep us ever intent on doing good today, for His name’s sake.
