To the Editor:

I have seen in the Killeen Daily Herald news that Nolanville is making an effort to attract new businesses.

I have seen nothing to indicate they are doing anything to rid themselves of their image as a traffic trap.

It seems they should address that situation if they want to get any good businesses.

The police don’t hide behind the DAV sign with only a little of their windshields exposed anymore. The sign is no longer there. That wasn’t in the city anyway, but it yielded a lot of money. And the circus goes on and on.

Nolanville's speedtrap career stopped when the legislature passed HB243 several years ago. It effectively destroyed speed traps in small towns by abolishing their economic incentive. Nolanville was one of the reasons it passed.

Speed Trap? I haven’t seen a speed trap in Nolanville in years. If anything Nolanville needs to get rid of its motorcycle gang meth/drug image.
