Police looking for murder suspect

Killeen police are looking for a man charged in the Oct. 11 shooting that left one man dead on Hereford Lane.

The Bell County Attorney's office has charged Cliffton Sivad Montague, 26, with murder. Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke has issued a warrant for his arrest.

KPD is requesting the community’s help in locating Montague, who is still at large.

Montague is considered armed and dangerous and is described as a black male, 6' tall and 180 pounds with very short black hair and a tattoo of the name “Krystal” on his neck, according to Killeen police.

Belton library will offer e-books

BELTON — Belton’s Lena Armstrong Public Library will soon offer virtual books. The library received a $5,000 J. Frank Dobie Library Trust Award, which is given each spring to chosen applicants. Kim Kroll, the library’s director, said all the money will be spent only on e-books.
