Killeen police are looking for a man suspected of robbing two people Tuesday and firing a weapon at them.

The incident happened in the area of Hoover and Second streets in Killeen Tuesday just before 8 p.m.

The victims, a male and female couple, told police they were exiting their vehicle when they heard a man yelling at them, demanding their belongings. He threatened them with a handgun, but when he pulled the trigger the gun didn't fire.

According to information from police, the couple scrambled to get away from the man, and the male victim threw an object while the female victim hit the suspect. The suspect fired his weapon and missed the male before running away in the area east of Hoover. As he was running away, he fired the weapon again, hitting the victim's vehicle.

The suspect is described as a tall black male with bad teeth, and was wearing a black ski mask, a gray hooded fleece pull over and dark color sweat pants at the time of the incident.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers at 526-TIPS (8477) or www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or text KILLEEN along with your tip to 274637.
