Pre-trial hearing scheduled for Hasan

Col. Tara Osborn, the newly detailed judge for the Maj. Nidal M. Hasan court-martial, set an Article 39a hearing date for Tuesday at the Lawrence J. Williams Judicial Center on Fort Hood. 

The purpose of the pre-trial hearing is to discuss the upcoming trial schedule, according to Fort Hood officials.

Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
