Soldier Readiness Processing Center

American flags, flowers, and photographs pay tribute Aug. 19, 2013, to the 13 victims of the 2009 Fort Hood shootings. The items were placed on the fence that surrounds the former Soldier Readiness Processing Center where the tragedy took place. The center has been fenced in and closed since the tragedy, but makeshift memorials to the victims have continuously adorned the fences and gates around the buildings.
