Belton’s Hogan earns All-State nod

Belton's Max Hogan was named to 58th Annual Texas Sports Writers Association 5A All-State Baseball Team on Friday.

The Tigers second baseman hit .352 with a team-leading 1.120 on-base-plus-slugging percentage, four home runs, 34 runs, 36 walks and 27 RBIs while leading the Belton to the Region II-5A quarterfinals.

Hogan, the Daily Herald All-Area baseball MVP, is committed to Dallas Baptist University.
