AUSTIN — Former Killeen standout Omar Craddock dominated the  triple jump in the Men’s University/College division of the Texas Relays on Friday.

The former Richard Milburn Academy graduate and University of Florida star, competing for USA High Performance, went 55 feet, 8½ inches to win by more than 2½ feet.

Craddock won two NCAA outdoors national titles and one indoor championship at Florida.

Former Harker Heights star Aliese Hyde helped the Texas A&M women win the sprint medley relay for the first time at the Texas Relays.

Hyde ran with India Daniels, Ashley Collier and Ibukun Mayungbe. Their time was 3 minutes, 49.56 seconds.

Killeen High’s Brittany Mitchell finished eighth in the high school girls 1,600 meters with a time of 5:02.88.

McKinney Boyd’s Aaliyah Miller was first in 4:50.17.

A trio of area girls were bunched up in the discus. Belton’s Bekah Alcozer (128-7), Harker Heights’ Chyna Otis (128-3) and Lometa’s Tricia Williams (127-5) placed 12th, 13th and 14th. Salado’s Rachel Hildebrand (108-6) was 25th.

Fort Bend Hightower’s Jela Gilliam won the event with a throw of 157-0.
