BELTON — Mary Hardin-Baylor had been put through the ringer. The NCAA’s decision Thursday that essentially stripped the program of its first national title back in 2016 tugged the emotions in all sorts of directions.

A football season makes no allowances for personal feelings, though, and by Saturday there was work to be done. So the Crusaders buckled their chinstraps and turned the afternoon into just another day at the office.
