LUFKIN — Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Taylor O’Rear became just the second women’s golfer in American Southwest Conference history with multiple league titles when she edged teammate Sara Eckert by one stroke Tuesday at Crown Colony Colony Golf Course.

O’Rear, a former Salado standout, finished with a two-day total of 162 and helped lead the Cru to its third straight ASC team crown, 10th overall and an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III National Championships next month.
