Don't fear, Saints fans: Kickoff won't change to interfere with any scheduled Christmas Eve plans.

The NFL confirmed Wednesday that the Saints' Dec. 24 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons will remain at its scheduled time (noon, CST). There was a chance the game, an important divisional matchup, could be flexed into a later time slot of the day.

The Saints' game this past week against the Carolina Panthers was one of the games flexed already this season. The NFL has the ability to flex game times from Weeks 5-17, but is not required to notify teams until 12 days prior to the game.

New Orleans (9-3) faces off with Falcons (7-5) on Thursday Night Football this week, then faces the New York Jets (5-7) on Dec. 17, which is also slated for a noon start.
