By all accounts the Atlanta Falcons' new home, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, is quite a sight. But the swanky clubs, suites and amenities might be too enticing to fans, keeping them from being in their seats, screaming at the tops of their lungs and making it tough on opposing teams.

At least that's what coach Dan Quinn hinted at Tuesday, a couple of days before Atlanta hosts New Orleans in a massive NFC South matchup.

“I used the analogy the other day: We built a billion-dollar house, and we need to throw a billion-dollar party. You know, a house-warmer? Sometimes we’re still using the coasters," Quinn said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "We need to be as loud and fun as all we represent as a city. I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed. (But) I think there’s (fans) looking at the house, checking it out. Let’s hope this is the (game) that it turns. The home-field advantage is real. We’re calling (for) that from a team to see if we can get that even stronger, louder."

The AJC also points out that the Falcons don't sell single-game tickets in the new stadium, which replaced the Georgia Dome. Instead they sell personal seat licenses (PSLs), which are what fans pay for the right to buy a specific seat's ticket. The theory is that those fans with deeper pockets might be more interested in the stadium's social experience rather than the game itself.

“We need to make it as loud as we can," Quinn said.

The Falcons (7-5) host the Saints (9-3) at 7:25 p.m. Thursday. The two teams will meet again Christmas Eve at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
