The Harker Heights boys had already locked up their third consecutive district crown, but they saved the best for last in a 13-4 victory over Ellison to remain undefeated. In the second team game, Justin Rogers, Ryan Everett, Tim Rackley, Adarius Stanford and Javon Stanford fired 12 straight strikes for a perfect 300 game.
It was the first perfect game of any kind in nine years in district play and may have been the first perfect team game in the nine-year history of the Texas High School Bowling Club. The Knights had 17 consecutive strikes from the end of the first game to early in the third game. Heights led 5-2 after match play, then won the first two team games to seal the victory. Tim Rackley averaged 223 and Adarius Stanford 210 to lead the Knights. Quentin Hewitt and Denzell Amos topped the scoring for the Eagles to finished third at 6-4.
