TEMPLE By the end of the day, there wasn't a part of Aliayah McDonald's legs that didn't feel on fire.
After winning her heat in the 200-meter dash, the Harker Heights junior was feeling it in her toes. Coming off the track after anchoring of the Lady Knights' 1,600-meter relay team to a dominating gold medal, the burn had moved a little farther north. "I don't know what it was but I didn't feel it until I got off the track," McDonald said. "But man I did something great, so there was a reason for (the burn)."
