ELM MOTT — Two area racers drove down Victory Lane after Friday night wins at Heart O’ Texas Speedway.

Former IMCA Modified national champion Keith White of Academy started eighth in the 23-car modified feature race.

White took over the second spot with three circuits to go in the 20-lap event, then wrested the lead from China Spring driver Justin Radcliff and held on to take the checkered flag. It was White’s first win of 2015 at HOT.

After starting from the pole, Salado driver Trevor Egbert led the 24-car IMCA Southern SportMod feature from flag to flag and claimed his initial 2015 main event victory at the track.
