Tealey Farquhar was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs as all but one Lampasas starter recorded a hit in an errorless 10-0 win over Salado.

The Lady Badgers (17-6, 3-0 25-3A) jumped ahead 2-0 after the first and were just scraping runs across until the sixth, when both Alex Caruthers and Kelsi Gilseth had two-RBI doubles, Gilseth's coming with the bases loaded to open it up.

Kady Crow pitched a complete game, only giving up two hits, and had five strikeouts

Rogers 18, Florence 0, 3 inn. - At Florence, despite first-inning singles by freshmen Taylor Navarette and Jenny Roche and a walk by Samantha Vaughan, the Lady Buffaloes couldn't get a runner past second base and fell to 0-8 in District 27-2A play.

Rogers scored 14 runs in the top of the inning.

Jaycee Summers (3-for-3, two runs), Ashley Cook (3-for-4, three runs, two stolen bases) and Allison Aslin (2-for-3, two runs, double, triple) provided the offensive spark.

Gatesville (14-7, 2-2 19-3A) scored in every inning but the fourth and blew the game open with seven runs in the fifth. Ridling (six strikeouts) then tossed another shutout inning to invoke the run rule.

BASEBALL

Gatesville 7, Waco La Vega 0 - At Waco, Cullen Mayhew was 2-for-4 and singled to lead-off the Hornets' 4-run fifth inning.

GIRLS SOCCER

Ellison 1, Shoemaker 0 - At Shoemaker, Darian Barbrow's last goal as a high school senior gave the Lady Eagles a win in their season finale.

The Ellison senior captain headed in Brooke Guerrero's school record-tying 14th assist this season in the 45th minute for Ellison's (8-12-5, 4-7-3 12-5A) first win since March 9.

Shoemaker finished its season 1-16-3 overall and 0-14 in district.

BOYS SOCCER

A&M Consolidated 1, Belton 0 - At College Station, Belton didn't win. But then again, it didn't really lose much either.

With a close loss, Belton still maintained the No.1 seed in District 12-5A based on goal differential over Consolidated. Belton (19-4-1, 12-1-1 12-5A) made a mistake in clearing the ball, and Consolidated (15-5-3, 12-1-1) had an easy kick at the goal. Carlo Mosnia made the save initially, but the ball bounced away from him and into the goal.

Ellison 1, Shoemaker 1, tie - At Ellison, the Grey Wolves scored the tying goal 10 minutes into the second and held on for a season-ending tie against the Eagles.

Burno Ribeiro's goal, assisted by Garrett Strickland, in the 27th minute gave the Eagles (6-13-5, 3-9-2 12-5A) a 1-0 lead at halftime, but the Grey Wolves answered in the 50th minute. Neither team found the net again in regulation nor two 10-minute overtime periods.

Shoemaker finished 1-11-2 in District 12-5A.
