The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor watched an early 9-0 advantage completely vanish as longtime postseason rival Wesley College scored 10 unanswered points in the second quarter to take a 17-12 lead into halftime. The Crusaders ran eight plays in the quarter for negative 21 yards.
