Glynna Johnson was dominant once again as the senior middle blocker led host Gatesville to a three-game sweep of Waco University on Tuesday.

Johnson led the fifth-ranked Hornets with 24 kills, four blocks and three aces in the 25-13, 25-11. 25-14 win.

Kaitlin Poe set her on almost all of those kills, racking up 32 in the blowout win.

Skye Truss and Ashley Cook added eight and six kills, respectively, and Megan Chambers led with nine digs.

Florence def. Granger 20-25, 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 15-13 - At Granger, Lauren Clark had a team-high 12 kills and added 30 digs as the Lady Buffs (10-8) pulled out a five-game match against the Lady Lions.

Samantha Miller led Florence with 41 digs and Chelsey Lansford and Haley Pluenneke both added 12 kills. Lauren Michalka led with 27 assists and added 11 kills and 11 digs.

Lampasas def. Little River-Academy 25-10, 25-14, 19-25, 21-25, 15-9 - At Lampasas, the Lady Badgers nearly gave away the match with "too many unforced errors" but pulled it out thanks to 11 aces and 14 digs by senior Tealey Farquhar.

Hailey Morrison led with 14 kills, Jenna Jenkins had 12 assists and Catherine Bloomfield added three blocks.

Waco Midway def. Belton 25-23, 22-25, 25-13, 25-22 - At Belton, the Lady Tigers played it close but could not pull out the victory against the Pantherettes. Brieanne Brown and Savannah Frick both had five kills in the set the Lady Tigers won.

Shoemaker def. Jarrell 25-17, 25-14, 25-19 - At Jarrell, the Lady Grey Wolves continued their strong non-district play, rolling over the 2A Lady Cougars to enter District 12-5A play Friday with a 11-8 record.
