Spouses earn spurs

Ivonne is the spouse of Capt. Jesus Ayala, of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. The event included five stations in which the unit’s spouse’s conducted physical training; conducted weapons familiarization with the M-9, M-4, and M-240B; assembled and disassembled the M-9, M-4, and M-240; completed a scenario at the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000; and negotiated an obstacle course.

CTC to host campus carry student forum

Central Texas College will host a student forum regarding Senate Bill 11, which allows for concealed handguns to be carried on campus by those licensed to do so, at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Anderson Campus Center.

TxDOT meeting on U.S. 190 expansion Tuesday in Heights
