1st Cavalry Division battle NCO controls the JOC

CPX's are training events for command staffs in which they set up a joint operations center and respond to realistic notional events just like they would down range, with observers and advisers helping them fine-tune their tasks, techniques and procedures. The division conducted the CPX to prepare for its upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.

Public input sought on special education services

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services and the Texas Education Agency will conduct a series of listening sessions in Texas during the week of Dec. 12, according to a news release from the Department of Education.
