Teachers Back

Matt Widacki, principal at Palo Alto Middle School, was Captain Patriot as he fired up his teaching troops Monday to begin a week of preparation prior to the start of a new school year. Teachers at Palo Alto came up with their own superhero and super power. Across the Killeen Independent School District, teachers are learning district procedure, reviewing policy and prepping for the arrival of students next week.

New number to pay city utility bills by phone

City of Killeen utility customers will use a new number to pay bills by phone beginning today, according to a news release from the city. Payments will now be made by calling 254-220-4183.
