Wedding Grace - James

Alexandra Noel Grace and Frank Ray James were married on New Year’s Eve at the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio.

Alexandra Noel Grace and Frank Ray James were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on New Year’s Eve at the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Grace of Salado.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ray James of Kempner.

Father Victor Valdez and Father Aloy Nzekwe officiated the double-ring ceremony, which included the giving and receiving of the unity coins and the act of lassoing by the couple’s mothers. Offering to the Blessed Mother was done by Caroline Hieger. Reading of the word was done by John Craviotto and Martha Dye. Singing of the Psalm was done by Nikki Grace. Presentation of gifts was done by the couple’s fathers and the bride’s grandfather, Rey Barcelo.

Nikki Grace, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Maria Elisa Barcelo, Lindsey Behrend, Rachel Bonker, Alyssa Cepeda, Danielle Flores, Danielle Garcia and Amanda Justis.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were of various styles and were silver/charcoal-colored, which was chosen by the bride. They carried bouquets of gardenias, white roses, baby’s breath and dusty miller.

The flower girls, Sofia Romana and Grace Rupert, were pulled in a white wedding wagon.

The ring bearer was Miles Romana.

Billy Lee James, brother of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Taylor Bird, Randall DeBacker, Luke Grace, William Grace, Santiago Prado and Eric Sooter.

Following the ceremony, a reception with dinner and dancing was held at the San Fernando Hall.

The couple was toasted off to their honeymoon in California as they welcomed in the New Year and the beginning of their life together.
