Wendy Holmes VanRaalte and Steven Clay Sedberry

Wendy Holmes VanRaalte of Killeen and Steven Clay Sedberry of Big Spring were united in marriage on July 20, 2015, at the home of Justin and Melissa Schulze, cousins of the bride, in Kempner. The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Zachary and Cody VanRaalte in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Cynthia Moss.

The bride is the daughter of the late Anita Holmes of Killeen. She is a 1996 graduate of C.E. Ellison High School and 2001 graduate of Tarleton State University. She is a former Killeen Independent School District aide and a teacher aide for Big Spring ISD.

The groom is the son of Hoppy and Mary Sedberry of Boyd and Jacqueline Roland of Big Spring.

The maid of honor was Christena Cupp of Temple and the bridesmaid was Teresa Wheeler of Killeen.

The best man was Hoppy Sedberry of Boyd and the groomsman was Peyton Sedberry of Big Spring.

The ushers were Zachary and Cody VanRaalte, sons of the bride; and Erin and Jordan Holmes of Georgetown, nieces of the bride.

An outdoor reception followed the ceremony.

The couple will reside in Big Spring after a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas.
