The annual Harker Heights community Thanksgiving service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights.

For more than 22 years, many of the churches in Harker Heights have gathered together to conduct a community Thanksgiving service, which is sponsored and coordinated by the Harker Heights Kiwanis Club.

In addition to St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church, which will lead the singing, give the Call To worship and the Opening Prayer, several other Harker Heights churches will participate.

The special music will be conducted by Crossway Korean Baptist Church.

The Trinity Baptist Church will present the Sermon, give the Offertory Prayer, lead the Affirmation of Faith and read the Thanksgiving Scripture.

The Harker Heights United Methodist Church will discuss the Joys, Concerns and Intercessions, and lead the Lord’s Prayer.

First Assembly of God will lead the Responsive Reading, and give the Benediction.

As in past years, the offering received in the service will be given to the Harker Heights Food Care Center.

All area residents are invited to attend this meaningful and inspirational service.

St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church is on Farm-to-Market 2410 /Knights Way, across from the Harker Heights High School.
