Canyon Lake vs. Lampasas Football

Lampasas' Cameron Everts (1) stiff-arms a Canyon Lake defender Friday at Badger Stadium in Lampasas.

Cameron Everts helped Lampasas accomplish impressive feats both on the field and in the polls.

The Badgers senior receiver delivered a season-high 180 yards and a touchdown on seven catches during Lampasas’ 56-35 victory against Canyon Lake to keep the team’s unblemished run through its District 14-4A, Division schedule intact.

Following the performance, he helped the Badgers achieve another notable accomplishment.

Everts was named Player of the Week, becoming the fifth player from Lampasas to receive the honor. No other team has earned the award more than twice this season.
