LAMPASAS — Senior Ivan Jasso scored a game-high 19 points, and teammates Adrian Rivera and Kyle Molter added eight points apiece as the 17th-ranked Lometa boys basketball team won its playoff warmup game Thursday, 60-52 over Richland Springs.

The teams ended the first quarter tied 11-11 before the Hornets took an eight-point advantage, 29-21, into halftime.

Lometa (25-3) closed the contest with a 23-point fourth quarter to secure the victory.

The Hornets have an opening-round bye in the playoffs.
