Having the common cold will yield you a positive on the corona test. COVID is a huge load of utter horse manure. It's a lie.

Killeen patriot

Killeen Daily Herald is misleading the public by listing all of the cases in KISD going back to March. There are only 40 active cases over the past 7 days. KISD only leaves them on the dashboard for 7 days, because that gives adequate time for the virus to incubate and show up in others who might have been exposed. After 7 days if no other positive cases arise from that person, then there is no reason to keep them listed. They have been off campus and isolated for 7, usually more days. Keeping cases on the dashboard for the full 14 day quarantine serves no purpose, other than to illicit fear. Back in August when the district announced they were opening up to in person instruction, I sat and listened to so many people tell the school board that we were sending our children to their death. Well, since August 17, zero students or staff have died of COVID related complications. It is hard to die from a virus that has a 99.9997% survival rate. Additionally, so many predicted that half the district would be closed down and back to virtual learning by mid-September.... just another example of progressive fear mongering. Currently, in bell county, the numbers of death for persons under age 50 has not changed since June.... 2 people under 50 have died from COVID related complications. Zero persons under 20 have died. It is time to stop living in fear and using this pandemic for political purposes.

Well this information is WRONG! My daughter goes to Roy J Smith and there was a positive test- hence why she’s back at home learning. Also, my son goes to Ellison and there have been SEVERAL calls I’ve received about positive tests. At least 3/4!

KISD is misleading us all by only leaving the active cases posted for 7 days. It makes it look as though things aren't that bad, but those who were possibly exposed can start getting symptoms after 7 days. KISD me to be more transparent by leaving the numbers on the specific school for longer.

Also, there are now 184 known cases, of which, 141 have occurred since September 2nd.
