ACCIDENT

UPDATE: Sgt. Matthew Fernandez with the 36th Engineer Brigade at Fort Hood was one of the victims involved in an early morning fatal collision that claimed three lives Saturday morning. 1st Lt. Jan Juanites is the Public Affairs Officer with Fernandez’ brigade and made the announcement shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.

The fiery two-vehicle crash accident happened around 2 a.m. near the Fort Hood Main Gate. A spokesman with the Department of Public Safety confirmed that the other two victims have not been identified by officials yet.
