Voting for Killeen’s outdoor decorating contest is now open online, city spokeswoman Hilary Shine said in a news release Tuesday.

Six properties registered for this year’s award, and voting is open until Dec. 17.

The top-three winners will be announced Dec. 20, according to the release.

Registration is still open through today in Copperas Cove.

Residents who want to register in Copperas Cove must live in city limits. There are two categories — static displays and lights in motion to music, according to a news release sent by Kevin Keller, the city’s public information officer.

Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful commission members will judge the registered properties Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will announce the Copperas Cove winners Monday, the release said.

Voting for Harker Heights begins today and runs through Monday. Winners will be announced at noon Tuesday.

Residents can vote at and in person at the Harker Heights Activities Center. They can also vote at Frost Fest in the Market Heights Shopping Center Friday, according to Nichole Broemer, events manager for the city of Harker Heights.
