Killeen police are looking for a woman wanted as a person of interest in the homicide investigation of 22-year-old Donte Javon Samuels, who was found dead last week.
Tarah Ann Nichols is being sought by police officers who believe she may have information pertinent to the ongoing investigation of Samuels’ death, according to a news release issued Monday by the Killeen Police Department.
According to the release, Nichols is possibly with her 16-month-old son. Child services is concerned for the welfare of the child due to neglectful supervision.
Killeen police late Friday identified a man found dead early Thursday in the 300 block of South 56th Street as Samuels.
Police responded to the area at 6:15 a.m. Thursday after receiving a call about a male who was thought to be sleeping in the front yard of a residence.
The KPD’s Criminal Investigations Division, Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
