The city of Belton will host a downtown street party around the historic Bell County Courthouse square on Friday, March 31 in support of local businesses.
This “Business Bash” will run from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
“Belton’s Business Bash will offer an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together and celebrate the local businesses that are the backbone of the Belton community,” city of Belton spokesman Paul Romer said in a news release. “The event will feature food trucks and adult beverage vendors. Attendees will be able to dance the night away to the sounds of Lone Star Skynyrd and enjoy the company of their fellow community members.”
Lone Star Skynyrd — a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band that the Josie Music Awards named the best tribute band in 2022 — will perform from 7 to 10 p.m.
“We are thrilled to host Belton’s Business Bash and showcase the incredible local businesses that make our city thrive,” Belton City Councilman John R. Holmes Sr. said. “This is a great opportunity to come together, have fun, and show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of local business owners.”
Belton Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Randy Pittenger told the Telegram how the event will be another great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy good food and music, and recognize local businesses.
“Business is booming in Belton and it’s a great time to celebrate,” he said. “We’re also always looking to bring visitors to town to see what’s happening, check out new businesses that have just opened, and discover ones that they haven’t yet found, so we encourage everybody to come on out and enjoy it. It’s going to be a great evening together.”
