A fire that destroyed a Long John Silver’s restaurant in Temple is under investigation.
Temple Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze at 3210 S. 31st St. at 6:03 p.m. on Oct. 11, officials said. People inside the restaurant evacuated. No injuries were reported.
The department responded with seven apparatus and 20 personnel.
The fast-food seafood restaurant was the only Long John Silver's left in Temple after another one closed down months ago on the 200 block of North General Bruce Drive. That Long John Sliver's was torn down and a Dutch Bros. coffee shop was built in its place.
Temple Police Department and Temple EMS also responded.
