To the Editor:

The Texas Department of Transportation’s decision to close the on-ramp to I-14 at Pleasant Hill Road is a bad decision!

It will make that part of the highway more dangerous. Traffic, including big trucks that are attempting to enter the highway, will now have to go further west, turn left across traffic and proceed down the access road to Indian Trail; cross Indian Trail, and then enter the on-ramp just before FM 2410.

This is much more dangerous than the current on-ramp at Pleasant Hill Road. This is a very bad decision. The on-ramp at Pleasant Hill Road needs to remain open.
